What is a sandwich panel

The name of the sandwich panel is due to the three-component composition, because the design principle of each panel (facing - filler - facing) resembles an ordinary sandwich. The building materials created under this scheme quickly gained popularity, because they made it possible to produce ready-made wall and roof structures that are quickly installed, maintain heat well, have additional important properties: strength, high sound insulation, resistance to atmospheric phenomena. Only thanks to the appearance in the construction market of sandwich panels there were quickly erected buildings. It can be safely said that it was the sandwich panels that contributed to the rapid growth in the number of commercial real estate and MAFs

The filling of panels can be:

• Mineral basalt wool;
• Expanded polystyrene;
• Polyurethane foam.

All types of fillers have high heat and sound insulation, and also have a high level of biological stability. Expanded polystyrene, polyurethane foam and basalt wool are environmentally friendly materials that are completely safe for human health. They can be used even in panels, from which industrial shops are built for food production.

Sandwich panels with metal lining are often used for the construction of commercial and industrial buildings for various purposes: shops and shopping centers, sports complexes and production halls, logistics and storage facilities, service stations, car washes. The surface of the panels can be completely smooth or profiled. At the same time, specialized fine-grained sandwich panels with a noise-dissolving effect are distinguished; They do not require treatment, their coating does not respond to any atmospheric phenomena. For decades, it retains its color, appearance and properties unchanged, which significantly saves money for building owners on repair work.
